History of ALBAJ
ALBAJ was incorporated in 1976 by Mr. Burjor P. Deboo, a technocrat with a desire to offer the best quality products to his clientele. What started off as a small factory shed in Pune, has now blossomed into three manufacturing plants, along with many site installations where our manpower is permanently engaged. Along the way, ALBAJ picked up many certifications by IBR, PESO, ISO, ASME, to name a few.
Burjor Deboo, who was active in the company almost to his last day, has left behind a legacy and a name that all ALBAJ stakeholders are proud of.
Now under the third generation, ALBAJ is poised to grow further into new fields and domains, never forgetting the governing philosophies of Quality & Integrity.
Director's Note
The name ALBAJ is now synonymous with Quality & Integrity. If you ask me, these are the two qualities that characterize the ALBAJ GROUP philosophy.
As the Managing Director of ALBAJ, I expect nothing less from our partners, employees, vendors, customers, and all stakeholders. All discussions and transactions should be transparent & honest and should be of mutual benefit to all concerned.

A second-generation entrepreneur, Viraf plays a pivotal role in the overall Management, and all financial and executive decisions of the company. Over 30 years at the helm of Albaj, he has succeeded in taking the company to newer heights. He strongly believes in Quality and Integrity as the core building blocks of a good organization. A Mechanical Engineer and a born entrepreneur, he believes in empowering his team, and expects nothing but 100% commitment and excellence from them.
Hoshedar V. Deboo
Director
A third-generation entrepreneur, Hoshedar plays a key role in the operations and strategy planning of the company. With a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, USA, along with a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship, he brings with him a fresh collection of innovative ideas, and a passion for Continuous Improvement, aimed towards the renewed growth of the company.
